Professionalism and Ethics

Professionalism and ethics are of the utmost importance to Pat Conway. Justice is about the search for the truth. The County Attorney is responsible for promoting an office culture where people are treated fairly and justly. A person should never be charged with a serious offense unless the County Attorney has evidence and a good faith belief that the person committed the crime beyond a reasonable doubt. Similarly, victims of crime must always be treated with compassion, dignity and respect.

Pat expects her employees to perform their prosecutorial duties with the highest degree of professional competency and within the highest standards of ethical conduct. All of the prosecutors are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the New Hampshire Rules of Professional Conduct.
